Very "Sticky" Load key on Ion and Swapped Keys?!

Doing a training session a couple days ago and of course when I went to demo multiple cue lists the darn LOAD key would not take. After pressing the key (firmly) several times it would usually sink, but very inconsistently. I have noticed this on other Ions as well, but never to such an extent. Is this because this is the least used key and needs some sort of "break in" out of the box? Or is it possibly software related?

Also, on this particular Ion, the Beam Palette and Focus Palette keys had been swapped! I assume this was from the factory and not knowing the physical linkage, I dared not pry the keys off to swap them. An odd issue tho...

  • Hmmm... I think I'd ask you to contact tech support.  Keys shouldn't need to be "broken in."

Regarding the key swap..... you can bring that up with tech support as well.  They can send you a keycap puller.  Always a good thing to have around.  I've got the note though and will send to manufacturing.

    Thanks!
