Can't reach the Shell on my eos on pc

Do you start Nomad by double-clicking an Eos showfile, or by actually launching Nomad (from start menu or from the desktop icon)

on PC, and i always launching nomad from desktop icon

While Nomad is open, could you please press [Alt]+[Tab] and keep holding [Alt].

Do you see the Shell-Window as and Option?

hi,no i don't. only the 2 main windows

unless someone gets an idea, i'm gonna save a log, backup my shows , then uninstall and reinstall, see if issue remains

I don't have a clue, sorry.

But how are you going to save a log without able to reach the Shell?

Good idea, you should have an option in the browser for Logs that will let you save log files from within the show file.

yes, i just saved it thru the setup log option.

then fully uninstalled and re installed 3.1.3, issue remains.

on windows 11, going in the task manager i see 3 eos apps: 

-augmented3d_engine.exe

-Eos

-UnityCrashHandler64.exe

Can you please right click on the shortcut you are using, choose properties and copy the target path?

yur question solved my problem. I was using the task bar shortcut, so right click didn't give access to porperty. But then  i used the desktop icon instead, which bought me straight to the shell. i deleted task bar shotcut, replaced it with desktop shortcup, nd now everything went back normal. you found straight the problem, the shortcut i used was the problem. I didn't know there was a way to reach eos (which was working perfectly fine) without going through the shell.

(don't know how taskbar went wrong, i used it a long time, was working normally, then suddenly no more shell.) anyway, problem fixed now.

the shortcut i used was leading me to 

C:\Program Files\ETC\EosFamily\v3\Eos.exe

i tried since, this exe opens eos squizzing the shell

oups, was

C:\Program Files\ETC\EosFamily\v3\Eos\Eos.exe

and i see that the good shortcut is

C:\Program Files\ETC\EosFamily\v3\ETC_Launch\ETC_LaunchOffline.exe
