Bug: Color Wheel only 32 Slots available

Hello,
i am not sure if this is a bug or if i should write a Feature Request...

Currently there are only 32 Slots in a Color Wheel possible.
I run into this by creating a custom Color Wheel with Gels for a CLS Poseidon Wash XS.
This Fixture has a Color Macro Channel, and i ended up using the "Color Select" rather than the "Color Macros" because i wanted to have little Color Thumbnails.

But in the end only a fragment of the ~200 Colors could be inserted in the Custom Color Wheel.

More is better, as always :D (Please)

  • Hi thilda, I experimented with this and while you do get this warning, you can click through it and keep adding more color chips.

    I made a 64-chip wheel and tested DMX output, and it seems like it is working.  I did not try with ~200 colors so you may wish to be a bit cautious.

    This was a limit imposed from a long time ago so it may no longer be valid to show it.
