I would like to learn more about (how ETC recommends) merging showfiles. The longer you work with a console, the more history you build. Useful building blocks from different shows can be found in multiple showfiles. What is the best way to merge these?
Especially it gets tricky when Colour Palettes (By type) are involved. What is the best practice and what should be done in which order to get a clean merge?
What does it mean to 'merge channels', what could be imported in advanced ranges and what not?
How can you grow a template file and take important information with you from show to show?
