Is it possible to update the fixture library on old consoles

Question

I am currently running on an old EOS software 2.9.1. Since this board can no longer make the jump to 3.0 is there still a way to update the fixture library to allow me to use new fixture profiles on my existing board. My current fixture library is 2.9.0.45 and I would love to be running 3.1.2.2.

Hi, Eos 2.9.x fixture library is still being maintained and updated. Also, you can update the Eos application to 2.9.3 on older hardware. 
 You must be running at least v2.9.2 for this, but the Fixture Library v2.9.2 Build 27 was released in June of this year which predates Fixture Library v3.1.2.2 slightly, but may have what you are looking for. There is a Build 28 to be posted in the near future as well.
