1.7 Offline Software - Merge both screens into one?

Is there any way to revive the one window view if you are using the ION offline editor instead of the EOS? It is a bit taxing to switch back and forth between windows, but I do see where two windows would be beneficial.

Right-click your shortcut to "C:\Program Files\ETC\Eos\Eos.exe" and select Properties.  In the Target field, add a space and the word ION to the end of the line. (see below)  This will launch the OLE in fullscreen Ion mode.

Nice. I assume that the full screen modes may be added to the launcher at some time, but this works for now.

Any solutions for someone on a Mac to merge the two into one?  I understand having two screens but do not like toggling back and forth

The same principal applies to Mac.  You can start the application directly with the command line parameter ION or ELEMENT.  I can't seem to figure out how to do this with the Mac version of Windows shortcuts (Aliases), but in a post further below you will find 2 Apple scripts to launch in fullscreen Ion mode and fullscreen Element mode...

Hello Chris ,tried to run the two launchers but I get a non supported architecture icon are two apps PPC only? 

i'm a intel here do you know what could be possible wrong?

Same here, the files you posted require Classic OS Support.  Very strange.  is it possible to do this with the Element as well?  Or is that not possible due to Mirror Only Mode?

Hmmm, that is bizarre.  I think it may have had somethng to do with zipping and sending from Windows.  This time it's coming straight from my Mac to the forum, so hopefully it will work this time...

You should launch the Eos application directly instead of going through the welcome screen (aka shell)

On Windows: "C:\Program Files\ETC\Eos\Eos.exe"

On Mac: "\Applications\Eos Family"

EOS app doesn't have a applescript dictionary so I wondering what's inside it.

You should be able to open it with the Apple Script Editor.  There's only 1 line in each script:

Element Shortcut:

do shell script "'/Applications/Eos Family.app/Contents/MacOS/Eos Family' ELEMENT &> /dev/null &"

Ion Shortcut:

do shell script "'/Applications/Eos Family.app/Contents/MacOS/Eos Family' ION &> /dev/null &"

Hi, nope you save it as application , it has to be saved just as script to be editable.

AppleScripts saved as applications can, in fact, be opened by Script Editor.  Just open it from within instead of double-clicking it like you would a non-app script.  However, one can save an app as "run only", which can't be opened -- it's a way to protect your code.
