I am running into a new issue since moving to 3.1 with the new Custom Direct Selects (CDS) and then needing to open the file on a legacy Element on 2.9. In short, even though Direct Selects is selected when creating a Snapshot, the CDS frame in 2.9 is showing up blank when recalling that Snapshot. The underlying CDS frame was originally created in 3.0. I understand that the CDS underwent significant changes given that it is now a target list like other items but am wondering if there is a way to retain the CDS selection in the snapshot so that I have portability between the 2.9 and 3.1 code branches.
