Update All w/ Gel by Number

We have a bunch of color palettes which were built setting gels by number.  When in a cue, we tweaked the color by eye (they're CXI's).  Doing an update, all seems like it should update the color palette, and indeed the the values on the screen turn from red to purple.  The values, however don't update.

If, on the other hand we update the color palette directly, the update sticks.

Is this a bug?

  • Hmmm... I just looked at this, and it seems to be working fine.  Some questions:

    Which CXI profile were you working with?

    When you modified the color, you saw an "R" in superscript to the right of the color data?  Yes?

    How did you modify the color?  Gel picker?  Color picker?  Encoder controls?

    When you did the update, you did "update all."  (Sorry, has to be asked).

    Lastly, can you send me your showfile?  (anne.valentino@etcconnect.com)

    Hue and Saturation encoder wheels

    Yep, I even double checked on the next update.  Update all is working as expected for all non-gel-based-color palette parameters
