EOS - Scroller Question

We just acquired an EOS console at my venue and I'm starting to love it! I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. 

When using a scroller, is it possible to make any frame the "Home" frame?  The designer I'm working with would like to make frame 8 of a 16 frame scroll, the "Home" frame. Just don't know if it's possible and haven't been able to figure it out.

  • If to you go Setup / Show Settings, you will notice an option for "Home Preset".

    If your light has a value in whatever preset you designate as home, it should go to that value when sent home.

    I've never actually tried it with scrollers, but this is how it works with moving lights, so in theory it should be the same.

    Lets say you create a preset 1000  with all of your scrolls at frame 8. Any time you press home, it should default to frame 8. You can continue to update that preset with different fixture types etc.. If you want scrollers 1-8 to default home to frame 8, and scrollers 9-20 to home to frame 9, just make sure you record / update that preset with those values for those channels and you should be good to go.
