Controlling manual split times

I am running an Eos with v1.7

My question has to do with running cues that have a separate manual up and down fade time. When I run them back on the main fader pair they automatically map control using one fader to control stuff coming up and the other to control stuff fading down. How can I replicate this using faders on a fader wing? Currently when I try to run cues the fader will control the up fade but the down fade does not seem to be controlled by anything. This results in channels coming up as we move through cues but never going out.

  • At the moment, only the master fader can split control of a manual fader.   Are you saying when you take manual control of a cue running on the fader wings, only the up fade is captured?  And the down fade does nothing?  Does this happen when manual timing is applied or when you take control manually?

    Thanks for your feedback.

  • This is when the cue is written with a split manual fade time. I am trying to map the up and down to two separate faders on the fader wing so that they can be used for playback remotely.

"At the moment, only the master fader can split control of a manual fader."

This appears to be what I am running into. With the split fade time the board is assigning control of channels coming up to the fader that I load the cue into and leaving the down fade unassigned.

My ultimate goal is to be able to give a visiting designer/board op a couple of fader wings in the back of house and let them run their show. The wings would connect to an RPU and the main board would remain in the light booth.

    Thank you for your help.
