EOS shell settings

My setup: EOS console (backup) + RPU (master) + RVI, all v.1.7

Do shell settings have to match on all devices or can they be set just on the master (RPU)? I'm thinking of options like Sensor feedback, RDM support, radio RFR settings, iPod RFR support. If those devices talk directly to the master, do the settings on the console (backup) or RVI have any effect?

Most of the options (including the ones you've listed) only apply to the console that's currently the Primary (Server), but you will usually want the Backup to have the same settings as otherwise failing over to the Backup would disable all the extra features you were using.

In the case of a Client, most of the options don't really matter as it's only being a 'remote facepanel' and not doing much itself.

(Obviously things like IP, screen resolution and the like should always be set per-unit.)
