There are a number of known issues in Eos Family Software v1.7 related to dimmer feedback and RDM. All of these issues will be addressed in v1.8, which should be released within 30 days. Due to these issues, we are asking users to not enable dimmer feedback or RDM in Eos Family consoles. If you have already enabled either, please disable them at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some of you and we appreciate your patience as these issues are resolved.
The issues include the following:
-- The same addresses can appear on multiple channels or channel parts in Patch by Channel, but only one channel actually controls that address (as displayed in Patch by Address).
-- CEM+ and RDM Address information remains displayed for a channel after its address is unpatched for repatched to another channel.
-- Patch By Address doesn't always display the patched channel information that is available in Patch By Channel.
Disable dimmer feedback and RDM from the Network settings in the shell.
If you have enabled Sensor Feedback or RDM, and then disabled these functions as a result of this post and experience any problems with your showfile, please contact ETC tech support.
