EOS Effects question

Is it  possible to apply effects to a fader?  I also wanted to know if it was possible to apply effects to a fader, am I able to use the fader buttons as an on/off switch for the effect?  So that I can turn the effect on and off at anytime?

  • What you are looking for is a Submaster set to Hold mode. Record the sub as normal: [Record] [Sub] [1] [Hold] [Enter] {Load}.

    Now the fader will control the intensity and NPs proportionally, and the bump button will turn the effect on and off. You can use the bump button when the fader is at zero to start the effect as well.

    As another note, you can change the sub fader to an I-Master (intensity master), and now the bump button will both move the NPs to their end state as well as starting the effect.
