I'm using an ION (v1.7). When the console software was upgraded to 1.7 in August 2009, I was using my own laptop (Vista) with the v1.7 offline software connected wirelessly as a client during focus. It works fine and allows me to change users if I chose to.
The IT department has now provided laptops (running XP) for each of our theatres and I have loaded the same v1.7 offline software. However, it does not allow me to change the user anymore. Am I missing something? Or is there a difference in the software operation when loaded on an XP or Vista machine?
It is not urgent, but it would be nice to change the client to user # 2 so the designer can have different screens during tech while I am running tech or programming.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
