Upgrade ION Software from 1.3 to 1.7

You CAN go directly from 1.3 to 1.7.  You need to keep in mind that the library may have changed a bit, so if you open old show files, you will need to decide if you want to update your fixture profiles or not.

Applied 1.7 software without issue on the console.  Old show file opened fine and works 8-).  (Yes I did re-save it too.)  However, the fader wing is now blank on page 1.  By accident, I found subs 1 - 20  on page 2 - and they work there.  However, on startup page 1 comes up by default (?).  Since there are people operating the lights that only know how to use the fader wing - they will have fits...

Is there a step I missed or need to perform to get the fader wing in sync?  Did I miss some drivers or something?

Seems a little odd that your subs have moved page, but you can very swiftly get them all back on page 1.

Just type [Sub] [1] [thru] [20] [enter], then push both of the buttons under Fader 1 together [load]. This will map all 20 subs across the page.

I should add that this only works if all the faders on the page currently have nothing mapped to them. Any fader which already has a Sub/Playback assigned to it will not be overwritten.

Thanks for the fast response.  It turns out that there was a setup issue.  I really don't know what it was set to originally, but when I went into setup -> fader control, the first 20 sliders were set to Grandmaster.  When I changed these to Submaster - the subs showed and then all worked as expected.
