Fading NIP

I'm not sure if I'm missing something or it is just impossible, but I'm trying to have manual control of one NIP parameter during a show. Obviously i could select the channel and then select the right encoder and fade it down (it's control speed playback on a video clip) but it would be so much easier if i could have it on a inhibitive sub. That way i could just slow it down as i needed

Thanks in advance

  • Stu,

You can put single NIP's on an Inhibitive sub. Doing this in Blind Sub, it seems that you need to make the Sub an inhibit first, then use the Parameter tiles in the CIA to select that NIP and put it at full in the sub.

Changing the sub to Inhibitive after you have recorded the NIP in there seems to kick it out. (Not sure why, it doesn't do this with intensities.)

    Does this solve your problem?
