Effects and Auto Mark

So they wrote a cue today with console set on auto mark.  In the cue the added a step intensity effect.  the lights wont mark and when we try and mark manually it doesnt seem to work either....i am sure it is our greenness but any ideas or help is apperciated

  • Hi there.  This is actually a known issue.... effects sort of sit outside of some of the data structures.  Here's the best workaround.  Before you apply the effect, set the lights to an intensity of 01.  Then apply the effect.  The NPs of those lights should then automark in the previous cue.

  • About 13 years ago this was a known issue. It still is today somehow, but now the other way around. When a focus effect is running, but the channels are at 0%, the channels do not automark position for the next cue. Instead they swing into place from the old position, while the effect is stopping.

    Ideally the effect would stop running while marking, but in any case the position should have been marked I guess.
