Displays

Im having trouble with my direct select modules. When i open them in the displays area or the primary display and set them up for groups, colour pallettes and focus palettes etc... Every time i go to blind or displays i then have to go through the process of opening the direct selects and choosing what i want on them. Is there a way to shorten this process as its becoming quite time consuming?

Also the ion has a couple of seconds lag when doing simple tasks somtimes. 1 Thru 20 @ FULL, and then a second pause then they will light up. It doesnt happen all of the time but does sometimes. Its started since the new ML controls. Is this a bug or is it normal now?

Aiden, we are working on a couple of solutions in 1.9 toward the direct select issue.

We aren't aware of any particular issues in 1.8 (or 1.7 if your sense is that it was introduced then) that should result in a slowdown on Ion, but we will conduct some performance profiling. Will advise.

I too have noticed delays in 1.8.

For example switching from blind to live.

We sort fo missed the update to 1.7 but I thought that you said one of the reasons why this update took so long to produce was that there was a rewrite going on to get rid of slow response times - alas you have not achieved this it seems.
