Studio Color 575 Lamp off & GCE question

I have two questions open to anyone:

1) I am currently running 10 HES Studio Color 575's on my ION and the Lamp Off command isn't working. The fixture reset command will and the lights function as normal, but all Lamp Off does is open and then close the dimmer shutter. Is there a specific command set that I need to follow?

2) I have (1) Net2 node and (1) Net3 node. Is there any way to edit the dmx outputs on the nodes from the console (ie install NCE or GCE on the desk) ?

Oh, I am running 1.7 and will be upgrading to 1.8 shortly.

The studio color profile isn't quite right, we re-wrote ours to make the lamp off command work.

As far as I remember it didn't send the Off signal for long enough, and it was also to the wrong DMX channel of the fixture, but I'm not near a desk at the moment to check. It was just a case of comparing the SC manual to the Eos lamp control commands though, not too complex. If needbe, I'll post our new version...

How do I get into that part of the profile? I haven't ventured into creating my own profiles yet.

Off the top of my head, make a copy of this fixture in the Fixture Editor, then edit that new fixture. Press Lamp Controls and select Lamp Off/Fixture Shutdown, and then edit it so it does what the SC manual says it should do to each address.

I'm sure there's a more helpful response coming from someone tho...
