Mirror Mode on a Mac

I've been trying to connect to our Eos here with my Mac for the past few days.  I understand using it as a full client isn't supported yet, even with the dongle, but I'm curious about Mirror Mode.

No matter what I do with the settings on the console, the client software, the network settings on the router, I can't get the client software on my mac to show anything other than "Mirror Mode Unavailable".  I know the network is working, because I've been using the iRFR with no problems.  I've tried connecting in mirror mode thru the wireless, directly connected to the router via ethernet cable, and directly connected to the board.  Each time, I get a valid IP address from the DHCP server in the console, but nothing in the client.

Also, I don't see the "Mirror Mode Unavailable" when I go into mirror mode on the console.  Unfortunately, I don't have access to a windows machine that we can stick on the lighting network (we're at a University with a very involved IT infrastructure and everyone in the theatre either has no laptop or a mac...) to check everything else out.

Is there something more I need to be doing to get it running? Is anyone else seeing any problems with Mirror Mode on a mac?
