Our system- EOS Console, RPU, RVI and RFR.
The last road show that came though here was using a City Theatrical WDS wireless DMX system. I noticed that when their system was powered up, my EOS RFR was not reliable at all.
It was dropping connection to the console repeatedly and eventually got into a state where the remote was so screwed up that pressing the number keys while in Live mode would result in the remote display showing TAB## instead of putting the number on the command line. It was pretty much useless until I rebooted the RPU (master).
When the road show's system was not on, the remote was able to maintain connection to the console without any problem as the base station is <50' away and in line of sight.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of interference?
Note: I have tested the RFR with the ShowDMX wireless system (the new wireless system from City Theatrical) and everything played nicely together.
