I have had a major problem lately with my lighting network.
Here's my setup. I have an EOS RPU (Main Primary) and EOS console (Backup) on my network. There is an ION onstage (client) used as an RFU. We are running 1.8.
Here's my problem:
My RPU seems to "drop out" of the system taking the stage to black. I have the EOS console setup in backup mode to take over at higher priority. When the RPU goes out, the console doesn't seem to kick in and take over. So the RPU must still be online.
My gateway that is connected to my sensor racks appears to be functioning properly. I feel that the problem is the RPU somehow.
Currently, I have the RPU turned off and logged the EOS console in as the primary master. So far it's behaving well and doing it's job.
Once I get past our Nutcracker season I need to address this RPU problem further.
Do I need to do a deep clear of the RPU?
Are there any settings I should go back and check again?
