50/20 Direct Select Splits

First of all is the 50/20 direct select splits set in stone, as it seems a waste to lose 10 selects everytime.

Secondly I would like to select different varieties of splits, say 40/10 so I can have 10 Macro's and 40 Groups for example.

Thoughts?

  • Hey Nick.  We/ve had some discussion about this.  We started out with fairly standard conventions in this mapping, but could certainly entertain a more flexible layout in the future.   We'd probably still maintain 20/50/100 as the default mapping for those controls however.  Will put this on this list for input.
