Eos v 1.8.1 software is released.

Hi everyone. Eos SV 1.8.1 is released. This is a software patch that fixes a number of issues, including system slows caused by mirror mode (this can be evidenced even when mirror mode is not deployed), and Universal Wing start up issues. It is recommended that all Eos family products be upgraded to 1.8.1 at the earliest time possible.

The release note and software have been posted to the downloads page of Eos, Ion, Element, Eos and Ion RPU and the Net3 RVI. This release does not require a new Mac offline build (users will still use 1.8), nor does it require a new manual or hotkeys document.

Hi Anne,

Does the new 1.8.1 version also include 1.7.0 and any other previous versions as well, or will I need to load each version separately to ensure I have all the updates?

No, you can just install 1.8.1 over any version. You don't have to load each one separately. Make sure you save the current show as it will reset it to default. All the other shows on the hard drive will remain there.
