Quick Step on the Ion

You can also try:

[Fader Controls] (push and release) {Timing Disabled} (push and hold) then press the load button of the cue list that you want Timing Disable on. You should notice a small TD on the internal LCD screen on the Ion. To remove it, just use the same steps as above.

that's the sexiest way to do a quickstep?  I would have thought there would have been a one touch soft key somewhere.  hmph!  That's a shame.

Think about that for a minute.

On Expression and Express you had to press Softkey and the Enable Quickstep Softkey, so a 2 button press.

On Ion it's a 3 button press, with the add'l step of Load being required so the console knows which cue list you are wanting Timing Disable to function on.  The added complexity a result of having the ability to run multiple cue lists, something Express/ion couldn't do, so a pretty good trade, IMO.
