A defect has been found in Eos Software version 1.8.1. This defect may be encountered in any Eos, Ion or Element system that is outputting EDMX. This issue does not exist in version 1.8.0 or older versions.
This defect causes the primary partition of the hard disk to gradually be filled by a temporary file. If the temporary file fills the entire partition, system performance can be compromised. It takes several days of continuous use for this to occur.
To avoid this problem, all you need to do is restart the software. You can just exit to the shell or reboot your console.
If you are running version 1.8.1 software, we recommend rebooting once a day.
We expect to release a patch VERY soon. It could be released as early as tomorrow.
