Version 1.8.2 fixes a defect introduced in Eos Software version 1.8.1. This defect may be encountered in any Eos, Ion or Element system that is outputting EDMX. This issue does not exist in version 1.8.0 or older software.
This defect causes the primary partition of the hard disk to gradually be filled by a temporary file. If the temporary file fills the entire partition, system performance can be compromised. It takes several days of continuous use for this to occur.
We recommend all sites running version 1.8.1 software upgrade to 1.8.2 as soon as possible. Until you can upgrade, we recommend restarting your console once per day.
