Just got a new MacBook laptop, 14" M1 chip, running Monterey12.5 and when I launch Nomad (2.9) it only about a quarter of the EOS screen is showing. I have tried changing the screen resolution to no avail.

You might try going into the EOS Shell and deselecting the "Fullscreen Offline Editor" option and see if that gives you some flexibility to appropriately size your EOS windows.
