Initially I thought it was just the faders calibrating at startup but I’ve since noticed it intermittently while the console is sitting idle. Any ideas?

The Encoder.
Fan bearings? on start up they can become noisy but settle down after a little while. worth looking at and cleaning them on the odd occasion.
I always assumed it was the hard drive.
As fare as i know is the Harddrive a SSD. So nothing that can make any sound.
my first guess is also the encoders. the clutch does kind of a reset. It varies from @5 to @5. some are more rumbling and some are nice and silent… It is reproduceable by turning the encoder and wait a couple of seconds.
