I’m running 3.1.5 build 8 on an Eos Ti.
When I’m creating a submaster, after recording it, I hit the ‘Properties’ soft key to edit it. The console pops up the fader properties page in the CIA. After making all the adjustments, I hit ‘Label/Note’ to name it. The on-screen keyboard pops up in the CIA.
In every other instance of this, once I hit ‘Enter’, the keyboard closes. Under the above conditions, it stays in the CIA. The only way I can close the keyboard is by hitting ‘Escape’. If I don’t, anything more I type gets entered as if I was re-editing the label.
