Hi everyone,
We're running an RPU3 as Primary Master and an Eos Ti as Backup. We have now noticed on a couple of occasions that when we power on the consoles, the RPU3 will lose control of the rig when the files are syncing, meaning that the Eos takes control of the rig.
We then correct the situation manually and everything is fine afterwards.
This happens when we power on manually and also when we multiconsole power on from the RPU3; my hunch is that something goes awry during the sync.
Up until this morning we had been running the final beta of 3.1.5 - whilst investigating this morning and after having upgraded to 3.1.5 (Release) it happened again. I immediately exported the logs to try and work out what could be happening.
I'm intrigued by a couple of lines:
2022 12 30 11:06:52:899 OnyxConsol : ACTIVATE Backup: this console is now a backup (I received a backup activation command from other console)
2022 12 30 11:07:17:116 OnyxConsol : DEACTIVATE Backup: This console is no longer a backup (User pressed the [Take Control] button)
The second line being me taking control when I realised it had happened again.
Would appreciated any ideas from the room...
