Bug: Channels will take delays with them in marking time

Hi, I have the following;

Q4: Some light cue.

Q5: Channels 201-204 fade up to Full in Green. Time 1, Delay 10 thru 30. Channels are marking the Green in Q4.

I cannot get rid of the fanned Delay in Q4's Mark of these Channels. They take too long to get ready before Q5 needs to be triggered.

Mark time is set to 1 in Setup, and Channels are marking in a Part 20 of Q4 with a time of 1. It will always show a white plus by the Color time, indicating the discrete time/delay.

Eos 3.1.5 B8 on Ti.

  • the exception i'm refering to is the discrete time (and discrete delay is part of that) you put on the move instruction that's marking.

    you want cue 4 to mark the color change. the color is stored in cue 5 but marking will execute it in the cue before. along with the move instruction also the discrete timing is pulled to the cue where the mark is executed.

    let's assume for a second that discrete time and delay didn't affect marking. what do you want the discrete delay that you put on the color change in cue 5 to affect? it clearly can't affect the color in cue 5 since the color change was already executed earlier by the mark function.

    the mark function using discrete timing doesn't take away any artistic choice you would have.
