Apex 5 vs Apex 10

We have "Universal fader wing" (this one: https://www.musson.com/universal-fader-wing.html), but we are don't know, if it would be compatible with the Apex console.

Also, in case of adding an external monitor, can we use any external touchscreen monitor, or are there any requirements?

Screens can be any touchscreen as longs as they are marked Win10 compatible. The console has Displayport outputs but so far I was successful using adapters where needed. The displays can have 4K resolution if you want, but regular FullHD screens will of course work.

From what I know the Universal Fader Wing should be compatible, check if you have an orange USB socket on the back of the wing.

Classic Fader Wing works without problems, but Apex 10 is the better solution because you have 10 faders which can changed fast by the new +/- paging buttons.

Thank you very much for the info. I wasn't sure if touch input would work on an external monitor.

My colleague sent me photo of our Universal Fader Wing and it looks like there is USB type B (square-ish and not orange).

Thank you for the reply. We would like to have the Apex 10 (now we have ETC EOS with 10 faders), but unfortunately it's up to economics department of our company. I hope we will be able to convince them to get Apex 10 for us.
