ION console random freezing?

There could be many reasons for this to be happening, so it is hard to know where to start.  For instance, what do you mean by "analog dimmer"?  How does your Ion console communicate with that dimmer?

I recommend that you contact ETC Technical Support directly: Technical Support  so that you can speak with someone over the phone about what is happening.
