Live: cue 1: - Help

Sorry for noob question but I've been searching everywhere.

We started creating cues for the first time on our new Ion. Things are going fine but we stopped to do something else and the command line reads Live: cue 1:.

How do we get it back to just Live:?

Then how do we get back to continue creating our cues?

I'm guessing we are missing a concept.

May have found the answer myself but it seems strange.

So I'm reading that I have to create a blank cue list and use it to switch back to busking. Is that right? Seems clunky.

No that is not right. You can add manual data over a cue at any stage. The manual data is represented by a red number.

I have a couple of cues in my busking cue list. Usually a preset and then a blackout. I the use subs and a magic sheet to busk what I need then return to the cue list for the end of the show.
