Live: cue 1: - Help

Sorry for noob question but I've been searching everywhere.

We started creating cues for the first time on our new Ion. Things are going fine but we stopped to do something else and the command line reads Live: cue 1:.

How do we get it back to just Live:?

Then how do we get back to continue creating our cues?

I'm guessing we are missing a concept.

    having Cue 1 there doesn't do anything bad. this only shows the selected cue, which is the cue that will be affected if you e.g. press the Label button or a Time without explicitly saying which cue you're referring to.

    if you want to record a cue that's not based on the previous one you can do a GoToCue Out (but Cue 1 will still show because it's still the selected cue). and last but not least, look into the setup option for Auto Playback, you may want to disable it.
