Start timecode on go

Hmmm,
not an easy one (for me).

As far as i know, triggering TimeCode with a Cue is only possible via a Macro. Because the Timecode normaly is the Mastersignal and EOS will listen to it and will do specific tasks that you have told the Desk.

Triggering a Cue via TimeCode, on the other hand, is quite easy.
You can simply use the following on a clear command line:

Cue 10 {Execute} {Timecode} 1:20 [Enter]

If you have not made a Eventlist, EOS will make one for you. And the Events will also be created.
The Timecode now are also written in your Tab2 (The Cuelist).

Setting a time to your internal Timecode can also be writen in a Macro. Like:

Event 1 / Time 1:00 Enter

Ok, that connected Cue 10 with time 1:20, but how do i start it?

When I go to show control (displays->showcontrol) and enter
{event} 1/ {intern} i can toggle on/off but the timecode is still not running.
how do i actually start it?

If you toggle internal On/Off the Timecode should run on its own.
In Tab11 (Showcontrol) you should see it running
In EOS you should see it in the top of your screen. More on the left side.

Internal Timecode is colored in Red, while external is colored in Green.

I like to start internal Timecode with a macro

Event 1/ internal enable Enter

And than i make to more Macros.

- Disable Timecode (Event 1/ internal disable Enter)
- Reset Timecode (Event 1/ time Enter)

doesnt do. It just toggles intern on/off, but the status still shows "00:00:00:00 TC off"

if i enter {event} 1/ [time] 5 it changes to "00:00:00:05 TC off"

I have Type SMPT source 1 intern on Extern off start 0 End 00:04:20:16 fps 30 in the other columns

Aha,

i found something.
In the Setup -> Show Control -> SMTPE -> System Settings: SMTPE Time Code RX needs to be active.

Otherwise the clock is not ticking.
Because i always start with a reset system, it is on by default.
