On a couple of occasions during our latest show I pressed [GO] and the program skipped over a cue! (As though I had hit the [GO] button twice). I was very certain I hadn't and took extra care to firmly press and release subsequent cues, but it happened again. I thought I had some sort of unconscious tremor then another tech spotting the miscue told me they had experienced the same!
I should add within 6 months of getting the ‘Element 2’ we had to send it back to have the GO button PCB replaced. And then several months later I had to have ETC send me yet another [GO] PCB and installed it myself.
Questions:
Have others experienced this or is it really just some sort of local operator twitch?
Is there anywhere/way in setup one can close the button response window so that once it was pushed there would be a shutoff time before any subsequent press was detected. IE Stop very fast subsequent triggers.
