NIP Fading Curve -> GoTo Cue 0 Bug?

Dear all

I am using a fog machine in a theater play. The machine only needs to smoke for 1s in the whole play.

I want to use only one cue for starting and stopping the smoke, so I do that as follows:

C10: Fog=0

C11: Fog=100, Time 1s, Fading Curve (see below)

C12: Fog=0

I use a fading curve as follows:

0 at 0, 1 at 100, 99 at 100, 100 at 0

This gives a nice pulse, where the smoke will be active during the fade and be off after the fade. This works well in the cue list.

When I am now in Cue 11 and when my cue has finished its fade, the smoke is off as expected from the curve.

When I use [go to cue] 0, the smoke will be at 100 rather than at 0. This is, because [go to cue] 0 does not home the NIP.

Is it the intened behaviour, that the console does not respect the cue fade curve for NIP, when go to cue 0 or is this a bug?

I am working on a ION and using EOS 3.1.5.8

Best,

Marco
