Scroller colour, in Magic sheet

No I haven't managed to resolve what I would like to achieve, if it's possible.
I can select colour frames using direct selects, but i would like to see which Frame/colour has been selected on my magic sheet when the lantern is active.

Hi I don't have a current show file to hand, So to re-cap I originally wanted the small icon in front of a fixture when you select "Scroller" in a magic sheet, to change with the colour/frame to show the current colour. Or the fixture itself to show the current colour, as ML do.
My work around is to replace the scroller icon with a small rectangle/shape, give it the channel number of the scroller, making sure in patch the gel string has been inputted. This works but is a little labour intensive.

If color changes work for the rectangle, then it should work for the fixture symbol as well with the same settings of link to instensity and link to color. A show file would really help to see what's going on. Can you create a show file from scratch with the issue?

Yes I thought the same, but the fixture would need two channel numbers (dimmer & scroller) how do I add the 2nd number? The link to intensity is working fine. 

Ah, i think we're coming closer. The scroller isn't patched as part of the same channel as the dimmer?

No I assume not, is that achieved in the fixture number patch, or the scroller patch?

In regular Patch you would normally have a channel with multiple parts. One of the parts is the dimmer, the other one a scroller.
