Delete cues without messing up the tracking

Hi,

I have a question about deleting cues. I build my cues in tracking mode and I have to delete some cues in the end. How can I delete them with out messing up all the tracking?

  • [Delete] [Cue] 15 [Qonly/Track] [Enter]

Qonly/Track is a button. it will post the opposite of the mode you're currently in. think of it as exception button. so you're in Tracking mode, the button will spell Qonly. executing the cue deletion in Qonly mode will make sure the values you had in the following cues are protected.

  • If you are deleting the cue, what is the expected behavior you're wanting if values were written in that cue? Should fixtures that turn on in that cue, stay dark, what about fixtures that go dark in that cue, when would you want those to go dark instead? You cannot simply delete a cue without explicitly stating where you'd want those values to move.

However, if you're referring to things such as marking, then the mark would simply move back to a prior cue.
