Color Picker

Hi, I had a question about the colorpicker.  I I have been using the EOS in conjunction with Wybron CXI IT scrollers and Seachanger Color Engines with the extra green filter.  I have been unable to get accurate color mixing with the color picker.   The problem is far more serious with the CXIs than the Seachangers (which are generally very close). has anyone been having similar problems or can anyone give me a place to start trying to solve the problem.

PS- when calling up gel colors my seachangers only use CMY mixing, not CMY +G mixing.  Any leads on that?

  • I've actually noticed that with my more recent designs using CXI that gel matching in the color picker had them fairly less saturated then the color I was looking for.  This was true of two different venues, so I don't think it was a calibration issue.

I seem to remember that with earlier versions of the software (prior to 1.7?) the matches were much better, almost as though the algorithm for best-matching out of gamut colors had changed,
