Selective store using Rem Dim

Thank you for bringing this up. This is connected to another change, but we'll have to find out if this particular change was on purpose. I will write it up to either allow again or to update the manual.

We absolutely agree, that the syntax is useful.

In current versions the syntax as such wasn't removed, it was changed: Record Remdim Sub instead of Record Sub RemDim. We will need to see if this needs to be changed or can go back to working the way it was. if it cannot be changed back, we will make sure to document the change.

I thought it was one syntax to take off only INT and the other one to take off INT + NPS...

REC REM DIM SUB removes only intensities, is it normal behaviour? Shouldn't it clean the sub from any previous datas including NPS or do i miss something?

Oh this is tricky, obviously the order of where rem dim is placed shouldn't change the functionality, and removing intens while leaving NPs is useful for recording cues without making dark moves, but when recording subs it's probably more useful to strip all the NPs - I don't want my subs randomly moving lights in the dark after I changed what they're supposed to do. But if the behavior is different for certain types of targets it's confusing. Maybe a soft key to "remove NPs".

I agree about how confusing it could be if remdim had different incidence regarding with what exact syntax it' s used. But for a sub or a palette, can't see the benefit of keeping NPS. As it concerns subs, psts or palettes, maybe a softkey saying clearly record new one, or delete previous one should be more appropriate?
