Is there any chance to switch Client Desk or RPU to be a Master?

Hi all;

As I build up a EOS system, one RPU is working as a Master with an EOS desk to perform tracking backup and two RPUs are operated as "Client" at the same time.  If both of master and backup are unfortunately out of control or not known from a same network system; so can I force one of      " Client RPUs" to be a master in manually and another to be a tracking backup?

  • Kelvin.... any Eos desk or RPU can be a master or backup.... provided that those devices match in output capability.  So, you can have two RPU's at 8K output, and two Eos desks at 4K output.   The desks cannot be used for backup or main .. they can only be used as clients ... if the capacity of the system exceeds 4K.  You set the Master/Backup/Client setup in the Eos shell...  you exit the application to the shell by hitting "Exit Eos" from the browser.
