sACN Disabled

Question

I'm experimenting on desktop compute at home and want to see what changes are going to the all the DMX addreses. I thought the "sACN Output Viewer" would be a good place. But when I open it, I get a sACN Disabled warning. In network output protocols sACN is checked. 
 Is there any other way to see whats goind to DMX address or how can I see sACN

if you are in offline mode, change to "offline with viz" 
 in this mode sacn is on, but with short breaks every few seconds, so can't use it for a show. 
 so you can see dmx in about or sacn viewer

These questions come to mind: 
 
 Are you working in Offline mode? 
 Is your computer connected to anything at all network-wise, i.e. does it have an IP address? 
 In Setup > Device > Network is there at least one port where sACN is checked? That setup path is for 3.2 and up, before this setting was in the Shell, Settings, Network.
