Ion MIDI implementation v1.8

Are there any known issues with MIDI command output in 1.8? I'm trying to get MIDI output from an Ion; MSC Output is Enabled, I've selected an output channel, but my MIDI sniffer isn't seeing anything. Suggestions?

You may have to change your MIDI Group ID in the shell - make sure it is set to the same as the Show Control display (called ACN MIDI Tx ID).

I don't know of any issues and in fact had it working from my ION last week.

ION triggered Qlab to play a video and then triggered both SFX and an M7CL scene. I did have to mess with the group number (what is the midi group any way I.D.K.?) but it did work very well after an hour or so of frustration trying to get it to work.

"MIDI Group" allows you to have different MIDI stuff happening across the same network - think of them as 'virtual' MIDI cable numbers.
