Ethernet Protocols

Question

Hi Anne - 
 I have a customer with an Obsession II which they are using in Net 2 mode with Net 2 Nodes, Gateways (in Net 2 Mode), and Unison with CMEi. We are planning to upgrade them next season to an Eos or Ion. 
 I seem to remember that Eos sends Net 3, Net 2 & sACN simultaneously. Is that correct? 
 Does Ion also send the same information? 
 Will these protocols be supported indefinitely? 
 We want to make sure that the console will not orphan the legacy protocols until we have time (and money) to upgrade everything to Paradigm & Net 3.

Eos, Ion and Element all output ETCNet2 EDMX. We will keep EDMX in the Eos family specifically to maintain compatibility with Unison. 
 If the site needs RVIs, they will need new ones. Net2 Remote Video Interfaces are not compatible with Eos.
