RDM WITH NON ETC PRODUCTS

I've eos family console connected to the rig using Pathport gateway. there's no a common protocol allows my to discover rdm fixture at the rig . also does rdm feature works with lumi node devices or no

    RDM was only specified in a DMX cable. So when networks came along every manufacturer created their own proprietary method to send RDM data through networks. Not too long ago a new standard was ratified, called RDMnet (ANSI e1.33). If this is fully implemented in the gateway, the network and the console, RDM can be sent from fixture (manufacturer A) though a gateway (manufacturer B) to console (manufacturer C). With the current RDM standard this only works for A-B-B, but not A-B-C.

    Pathport gateways with the newest version of firmware already support RDMnet. On the ETC side only the Concert software is currently RDMnet capable. And as far as I know, Luminex nodes currently aren't RDMnet capable either.
