Hello all. My ETC IOn (purchased in 2015) windows 7 model, has been having boot issues lately. This started about 6 months ago where I would get an error: Dongle loss detected on boot, and would have to reboot the console to get it back working.
I swapped out the CMOS battery and the issue went away.... until yesterday.
The console failed to boot multiple times with the same error. So i believe the cmos battery may not have been the culprit. Just wondering what troubleshooting steps I should try to take. I have a restore kit, that when i tried to run claimed my version was not supported (3.1), and as its not a windows 10 model, theres no factory re
set from the console.
