Effect that lights up one light at a time

Hi!

Trying to create a specific effect, but I'm not sure how I'd go about it (bearing in mind I don't have much experience with Eos or stage lighting in general)

Basically, I want an effect that I can apply to multiple lights, and it will randomly light one up for, say, half a second (or even less ideally), then quickly fade it out while fading another random one in and so forth.

Hoping to be able to have a bunch of random spots lighting up quickly one after the other

Any ideas how I could do this? Or is this not possible in Eos? Thanks!

  • This sounds like an Absolute Effect.

Action 1, put 100 in the Level column
Action 2, put 0 in the Level column

This will fade affected channels to 100 and then to 0.

On the right hand side there is a field for Trail, use Solo.

This effect can be applied for any selection you want, it will follow the order of the channel selection. You can use {Offset} {Random Channels} on this selection.

    Chan 1 [+] 3 [Thru] 6 {Offset} {Random Channels} [Effect] 1 [Enter]
